What are ME stripes? ME stripes are Mike Edition stripes!
In 2005 when GM introduced the next generation C6 Corvettes, these stripes are the very first I designed for C6 Corvettes. In 2008, GM copied the idea of these ME stripes to make Hetz ZHZ without using the second color outer stripes. All cars were finished in yellow with a broad black stripe along the hood and roof.
Later on, GM release the similar Hetz ZHZ looking stripes with additional outer stripes like ME stripes. Most of the C6 Corvette owners had loved our ME stripes much better. Our ME stripes look more flowing, classy looking while GM stripes looked fat! C6 Corvette owners also did not like about the GM stripes is that they cut short for all panels. After installation, you would the the car paint color between panels. With that issue, GM stripes look like decal stripes while our stripes look like painted stripes.
You can order these stripes in 1 color or 2 colors options. If you only need the center stripes only, you can order that option as well. We cannot replicate the exactly Hetz ZHZ stripes because of many reasons. One of the reason is that they don’t look well.
- For standard C6 coupes: ME stripes will have front nose, hood, roof, halo, hatch, and next to 3rd brake light pieces. There are options to add back rear bumper stripes to stop before rear license plate or go all the way pass rear license plate.
- For standard C6 convertible: ME stripes will have the same front nose and hood. For the rear, there will be stripes on top of the waterfall, convertible top, trunk lid, and next to 3rd brake light pieces. There are also options to add back rear bumper stripes to stop before rear license plate or go all the way pass rear license plate.
- For C6 Corvette grand sports: same as standard C6’s but with cut around the front nose scoop.
- For C6 Corvette Z06’s: same as C6 grand sport.
We DO combine shipping. Just place your orders and we will refund extra shipping.
UPS 2nd day air will not guarantee to deliver in 2 days. I know it is ridiculous but that is UPS policy. Post office Express Mail also would not guarantee to deliver in 2 days.
It would take us at least 2-3 days to ship out your stripes from the day of order except Thursday, Friday, and Express mails. Please go to Order Status page to get your tracking number by the end of your order shipping date! First Class mail will take another extra day, and free mail will take a week.
- Ordering Monday - shipping out Thursday.
- Ordering Tuesday - shipping out Friday.
- Ordering Wednesday - shipping out Monday.
- Ordering Thursday, Friday - shipping out next Tuesday.
- Ordering Saturday - shipping out Wednesday.
- Ordering Sunday - shipping out Wednesday.
- If you order with UPS 2nd day air or USPS Express mail, they still take 3 days to get out. I used to charge customers $25 more to process it in a day; however, I have since dropped that extra $25 charge; therefore, they are processing the same way other packages' processes. If you really need them processed in a day, please contact us to pay for extra $25 fees.
We are using USPS postal office and UPS.
USPS priority mail is faster, cheaper, and has insurance; however, sometime would get delayed especially during Christmas time. If it happens to get delayed, please be noted one simple thing, it is not my fault. I don't work for USPS postal office or UPS. I am selling stripes :-)hehehe! It is your responsibility to call USPS/UPS and keep checking on them or pushing them. If your package doesn't get anywhere after 2 weeks, please contact the post office/UPS to ask them to escalate your tracking number! If your package is not moving again after 4 weeks, please contact me. And if you just contacted USPS/UPS to escalate your tracking number, please wait 2 more weeks to contact me.
If you select USPS First Class mail & free mail, it won't have any insurance. If it got lost or damaged during shipping, it won't get replaced by us. We are dropping most of 1st class shipping options except for small decals. We want our customer to have insurance for their packages. If you want to add insurance to 1st class mail, it is the same price as priority mail.
